Triple Kite...

So here is a standard 4 1/4"x 5 1/2" card done with the same stamp set, colors, and Designer Paper used in the last project I posted HERE. But I just had SO much fun using these supplies. You will see a few more projects using these same products soon. :) This one is my triple kite card. I LOVE all the kites that come with it and I love how you can transform them to other things or use them as intended as kites. And LOVE the fun cloud stamp and again...LOVING my color spritzer. :) Here is the card...

Can you see the border stamp on here that came from the "In Stitches" wheel?! I am LOVING this! See my last post if you don't know what I am talking about. :) And here is a close-up of it...

Send Me Soaring Mini Card Box...

I really liked the kite set, "Send Me Soaring", in the Mini Catalog when I saw it. However...I didn't know if I would use it enough. Then we used it at the San Antonio Regional event I went to and I totally fell in love. They showed us clever ways to use the set for more than just kites. So I had to have it by the time I got home. :) I am so glad I got it because I LOVE it! I made this whole mini card set with that stamp set. And this card box is one they showed us how to make at the Leadership event I was at before the Regional. :) (These are all just Stampin' Up! Events that we have the opportunity to attend as demonstrators.) I will show you how I made the box in the photos below. I also have a really fun and cool trick for you if you want to keep reading. For now...here is my card set...
Seriously HOW CUTE?! I think so anyway! :) Now...I should of taken a picture of this project next to something so you could see the size. They are TINY cards. 2 1/8"x 2 1/8" is how big the cards are. :) Perfect for a little tag for a gift or when you just need a quick message for someone. And I am going to make envelopes for them when I get the Diagonal Score Plate for the Simply Scored! (YES!!! That's right....we will have a DIAGONAL plate to buy that will go right over the Simply Scored board soon that helps when scoring diagonally!!! More details to follow! :) ) But back to this project...here is a picture of the cards in the box...

Doesn't that look so much fun. :) This project is using the new In Colors from this year. Which just happen to all be included in the Sweet Shoppe Product Suite in the mini. So those are the colors I did this project with. And any Designer Paper you see is the Sweet Shoppe paper as well. LOVE LOVE this stuff!
Now here are some pics of the cards up close...
Love using the kite just as a kite. :) Think it's adorable! And sorry about that saying on the card. Looks totally crooked! They all do in my photos! Don't know what happened there. :) So just ignore that! :) But this kite I just colored with markers, stamped on Whisper White, cut it out, and then dimensionaled it up on the card. Everything else should be pretty self-explanatory. Oh...and yes...I used the Color Spritzer for the markers all over this project! I have been using that tool like crazy. Again...if you don't own this already..you need to!!! If you do own it...use it if you haven' t for awhile! LOVE what it adds to a project! :)
Now this card is made still using the kite set. But this time I stamped the polka dot kite onto Wisteria Wonder cardstock with Wisteria Wonder ink three times. Then took the small heart punch and punched out a heart from each of the kites. Fun...right?! :) This card is super fun too. Back to using the kite for a kite. :) Love that little bowed string as well. But notice the line stamp on the left side of the card next to the ribbon?! Anyone guess what that is from?! That is from the "In Stitches" wheel!!!! I have a little trick below to show you how I use my wheel! :) So keep reading...it's AWESOME and I am going to do this lots now! But have to show you the last card up close first...

This is another one that I stamped the kite three times and punched out the middle to get a different image other than the kite. How fun, right?! :) And then that zig zag border...yup! You guessed it!!!! It's from the "In Stitches" wheel again! :) Use this "wheel" lots more now. Will show you what I did to it below...but first let me show you how I made the box. I cut out a Scallop Square from the Scallop Square die. Then using my Simply Scored tool I scored three scallops in on two of the sides and then two scallops in on the other two sides. Then cut in to first score line. See this photo to see what that all looks like...
Then just fold together and adhere to make a box. How much fun! It would be a fun box to put little treats in and just wrap in cello for a little favor or whatever! :)

NOW...time to show you what I did to my "In Stitches" wheel...huh?! I think you will like it. Here is a photo so hopefully you can tell...
I UNMOUNTED my wheel and made a stamp set out of it!!!! All you need is a wheel of your choice and the Clear Mount Cling Foam. (Item 124236 $10.95 for 2 sheets of foam) This is how I did it....first I took the wheel and with my hobby blade cut at the seam of the wheel. You can easily see where that is if you just look at your wheel. Then you just peel it off the wheel base (comes off easily after that seam is cut) and you have a straight strip of rubber. Then I just cut a piece of the foam the same size as the rubber. And peeled off the adhesive side of the foam and stuck the rubber on. Then I just cut into the different design strips, as you can see above. Then I just stored in a clear-mount case. I am going to make my own label for the front of it also so I know what's inside. It was SO EASY and MAYBE took 5 minutes to do! And the best thing...the wheel only costs $8.50! So have a stamp set for $8.50 plus the cost of foam. Which I have LOTS more foam for more wheels so the cost was minimal for that! And then just take it out of the case, mount it on your clear block, and stamp away. Framelits Window Box...

While we were at Leadership, a few of us got together and did a 3D swap. Sadly...one of our swappers (and friends!) couldn't make it to Leadership last minute. :( But look at this HAPPY mail I got from her!!! She still sent us her swap and wow!!! I am impressed! :) Here you go...

Cute, PERSONALIZED notecards!!!! A fun altered clothespin, an altered pencil, and a cute little box of chocolates! How awesome would this be to make for gifts! SO AMAZING!!! Another Treat Tube...

I really enjoyed making the treat tube for club the other day. So I decided to make another one. This time a little bigger. I used the biggest flower from the Fun Flowers Bigz Die. This one was so much fun to make as well. Here it is...
Used the Bordering Romance set from the Mini catalog for this one. Combined with the Designer Series Paper from the Sweet Shoppe paper. Have I mentioned lately how much I love that stuff yet?! :) Color combo is Pool Party, Lucky Limeade, and Wisteria Wonder. Again....love that Wisteria Wonder! :) (And it doesn't even need to be said how much I love Pool Party and Lucky Limeade....doesn't every one?! :) ) Here is a top view...

And here is a close-up of the stamped tag. Again...used the Labels Framelits. I have used this so much ever since I got it. LOVE having a label for whatever size I need! And on the Whisper White circle I embossed the whole image with the Vanilla scented embossing powder. I just stamped my image, colored it all in, and then smooshed my VersaMark pad all over it. Then just embossed it and VOILA! Vanilla scented tag! Love it! And of course it needed a little bling... Love these five-sided boxes! So easy to make! And so much fun to give! Hope you enjoy! Scented Ice Cream...

Yesterday I posted a Leadership Make and Take care that we made at Leadership. I mentioned it wasn't my favorite make and take we made. But I also thought it would be a fun layout for lots of cards. So I decided to make another one using the same layout...just different Designer Series Paper and stamps. Here is the card...
I actually love this one. Just changed the card base color to Wisteria Wonder (kinda really having a love affair with this color. Not really a purple fan...but LOVING the freshness of this color. LOVE LOVE!) and used the Sweet Shoppe Designer Series Paper. And that ice cream cone image(from the Mouthwatering set...such a fun one!)...embossed with the SCENTED embossing powder. Can't get enough of that stuff either. :) Here is a close-up...
Do you see all the details?! I sponged the edges and used the Color Spritzer on all the cardstock pieces. Have you used your Color Spritzer lately?! Do you not own a Color Spritzer?! If you don't...it's a must-have tool in my eyes. I use it all the time. You just pop your marker in the spritzer, and squeeze the bulb on the spritzer. It then spritzes the marker color over it. Fabulous! Adds such a fun detail. I LOVE LOVE this!!!! It's so easy to switch out whatever color you want. And looks amazing on your projects! I used Pool Party, Lucky Limeade, and Wisteria Wonder markers for this card.

Leadership Make & Takes...Part 2

Just a few more Leadership Make & Takes to share. Seriously...Stampin' Up! puts on the best events. They are so much fun! Every detail is amazing and I always have a blast!

Since I shared my "not my favorite Make and Take"...I think I should share one of my faves. :) This time it's an 8x8 Scrapbook page...How much fun is this?! Love the tone on tone Designer Series Paper (Baja Breeze was the page base and then the mat that my picture is Baja Breeze from the Twitterpated Designer Series Paper), the buttons, and the flowers from the Blossom Builders Kit...SO MUCH FUN!!! And then adding that picture of my daughters....what could be better?! Here is a close-up of the bottom...

February Club Projects...

We had our monthly club night last night. As always...I had a lot of fun and it was great to get together with my girls! :) And I really loved the projects we made last night. First up is a fun Ice Cream card we made with the Mouthwatering set, Sweet Shop Designer Series Paper, and the SCENTED embossing powder!!!! Some of my FAVE things out of the new mini. I LOVE this whole line of products!!!! Here is the card...
We used the Label framelits. And that Designer Series Paper comes EMBOSSED! The polka dots are raised a bit and it adds a nice texture. We also used textured cardstock for the card front. Which I LOVE LOVE LOVE! Seriously it adds such a nice touch as well. It's all about the details! And this card is a 3"x6" card...tall and skinny! Something I am sure we all wish we were more of! :) (Hehe!) Here is a side view...

This next project is a fun treat tube that Stampin' Up! showed us how to make in our monthly demonstrator magazine we get each month. (Just one of the MANY fun perks of being a demonstrator!!!) I LOVED it. I have made these before and just wasn't loving it. But for some reason this time I must have made it better because it's so much fun!!!! Here it is...Isn't it adorable?! The top and the bottom are made with one of my fave punches...the Fancy Flower punch! Can you believe that?! Love the scallop it makes on each side!!! Here is the top view...

We used a few Sale-A-Bration products on here. Actually...the whole Everyday Enchantment pack. The Designer Series Paper is my FAVE!!! I am stocking up on lots of packs of that paper because I think it is just so fabulous and has such a wide variety of patterns and prints! Then the Fresh Vintage stamp set is so beautiful and fun to use. And then the thin ribbon in the ribbon and brad pack.....YUMMY!!!!

Valentine's For Kindergartner's...

Tomorrow is VALENTINE'S DAY!!! YAY!!! I love Valentine's Day! What's wrong with a day devoted to celebrating the people you love?! :) Just wanted to share a few things that we did for my daughter's Kindergarten class. First up is her teacher's Valentine. When I saw the teacher stamp set in the Sale-A-Bration catalog I knew that what I was going to do for her teacher! So here is what we did...Wrapped up the stamp set, a few ink pads, and one of the Valentine's Kylie gave to her class (pictures of that below) with some FABULOUS ribbon and added a SUPER fun Valentine tag. (Up close pictures of that below as well) When I am short on time, I LOVE wrapping a gift with some ribbon and a tag. And although I have a few different kinds of gifts I had to do for her class, I did the same tag for all of them. Saves time but still shows the receiver of the gift that you appreciate them so much that you took the time to make a little something handmade for them.

Here is what we are doing for all her classmates. I LOVE these Valentine's boxes. I bought them whenever they were in the mini catalog and STILL have some to use. But...they are on the CLEARANCE RACK now so you could get them so much cheaper. Here is what they look like...

These cute little boxes that are SO EASY to put together. We gave pink to the girls and blue to the boys. But you could pick just one color and go with that. :) Then in the box...

A package of candy and a little game. I LOVE the maze games in the current mini catalog. Seriously...HOW CUTE and fun!! For ANY age!!!! Here they are up-close...This was SO EASY to do! I just stamped the heart image in Real Red ink and punched out with the 2 1/2" Circle punch. Then took out the back insert and added this one to the game. SO EASY and so much fun! Then we stamped on the back as well. This is what we did...

My daughter got a bit sloppy with her writing cause she was TIRED OF WRITING (that's what she said in her dramatic voice) after we made 20 of these and 20 boxes. She wrote both their name and her name on both. So I let the handwriting slide and just made sure she got them done. :) But we had fun together in my stamp room. The best thing...as we are working together...my sweet daughter says, "I love crafting with you in your stamp room, Mommy." There is nothing better! I just hope she always wants to craft with me! Or at least spend time with me! :)

This next gift I made quite a few of. I am the Room Mom for my daughter's class and so I am in charge of the party tomorrow. I wanted to make sure I had a thank you gift for the mom's helping me tomorrow. So this is what they will get. I also needed something for my daughter's bus drivers. (She has 2 of them.) And then of course my friend that is watching my baby. So this is what they will get as well...
I could of just given them the candy bars because who doesn't appreciate chocolate?! But again...how much MORE fun is it to get chocolate with some ribbon and a cute tag on it?! I hope they feel loved and appreciate cause they are!!! I may make some more of these for my neighbors. They were fun and quick to do! Here are some more pics...

Leadership Make & Takes...Part 1

I recently went to Stampin' Up!'s Leadership Convention in San Antonio, TX. I have lots to share from this trip. I am going to start with showing you a few of the make and takes we made. I was lucky enough to be a make and take helper this year...so I was able to create my projects early at my house. (This was so I would know what I was doing so I could help the other demonstrators with their projects!) I thought the make and takes were super fun this year! We received the Blossom Builders Kit from the new mini to make most of our projects with. I will be honest...wasn't sure how I felt about this kit when I first saw it. Now I am IN LOVE! The blossoms are SO much fun and easy to use! LOVE THE KIT!!! So you probably want to get one yourself! :) Here is a card we made....
We also used the Mixed Bunch stamp set and coordinating punch for our projects. These went fabulously together with the Blossom Kit. I love this card we made and it was so easy to put together. Here is a close-up of some detail...
We snipped that circle that is just under the button for a little more dimension. It actually adds quite a bit to the card. It's all about the details! :) Then the next layer is the polka dot flower and that is from the kit. The next layer is the Daffodil Delight flower and that is stamped with the Mixed Bunch stamp set and punched with the coordinating punch. Then the next Poppy flower is from the kit as well. Colors used are Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry, Poppy Parade, and Daffodil Delight. I had NO IDEA they would go so well together! Love it!

This next card is a similar layout, but looks so different! I love the little side scalloped edge. That was just a separate piece of cardstock that was punched and then layered on the card front. Again...all about the details! Then the three flowers are again from the Blossom Builders kit.Hope you enjoy these cards! I know I had a great time making them! Thanks for visiting!

Fun With Decor Elements...

I know...I know. Christmas is SO last season! :) (hehe) However...I never shared a great gift idea that I had! So....I am sharing it now because it STILL is a great gift idea! You just might want to change out the vinyl image! (Imagine doing this with the new Sweet Shop Decor image...yeah...I think I may just have to do that!!!) And I just have to say that I LOVE Stampin' Up!'s vinyl. It is GREAT stuff! They have amazing images and it's great quality! So easy to apply and use! SOOOOO...what I did for these projects (and I have a few varieties just to show you how easy it is to change up with whatever you like!) was just apply the vinyl to a plate and added some embellishments. I used buttons and adhesive rhinestones and ribbon. You can use whatever YOU like! Here are some of mine that I did...

I know it may be hard to see on the clear plates, but I really loved using those. I just found any plate that I liked that had a relatively flat surface in the middle, applied my vinyl, and then added any embellishments I wanted. Each one just took minutes and end up looking SO CUTE!!!

January Club Projects...

Since it's been over a month since I posted...it's probably time I do that! :) Sorry! I have lots to show you so will definitely be posting more regularly again. These projects I am showing you today (YES! You get to see TWO!) are the club projects we did this month. THE NEW MINI is out and the NEW SALE-A-BRATION brochure is out!!!! So if you need a copy of either of those let me know and I will get you one! :) These projects are using a whole bunch of new product. New stamp sets, Designer Series Papers, Big Shot stuff, etc, etc. The Designer Series Paper I used on both of these projects is called Twitterpated. To be honest...I didn't LOVE it in the catalog. But I had to see it in person, right?! So I got it...and I LOVE it! So many fun colors and SO MANY different types of designs to use. It's one of my new faves. Enough chatter though. Here are my projects...

Wasn't sure about this card in the beginning but after staring at it for awhile...I ended up loving it. :) And the new pleated ribbon, new Edgelits for the Big Shot, and those embossed hearts....LOVE! The hearts are an Embosslit die and so all you do is run it through the Big Shot once and it cuts out AND embosses like 6 small (maybe even more...can't remember at the moment) hearts at once. LOVE LOVE!!!! And so you can see that fab edge to the card made with the Edgelits better...here you go....

Gotta love it! Next up is a photo wallet we made. Thought this would be a fun interactive Valentine for that special someone with special thoughts and photos inside or for grandparents or a good friend or teacher or whatever. Here it is...
This is the front and it has velcro to keep it closed. LOVE the Silver Glimmer paper that is carried over from the holiday mini so you can STILL BUY IT!!! YAY!!!! :) And the flower is done with the new flower punch from the mini. Here's a side view...And then when you open it up...here are all the places for the photos and special thoughts...
Each one of those flaps opens up and that is where you can put your photos. And yes...ALL the Designer Papers you see on these projects are from the Twitterpated paper!!!! Seriously...so many fun designs!!!

Girly Fun Galore...

I mentioned that I have used this Invitation stamp set a few times since I received it just a few weeks ago. Well....here is another thing I did with it. Our friend's daughter has a birthday in the beginning of December. My friend was going to *GASP!!!!* PURCHASE the invitations for her daughter's birthday party! I couldn't have that! :) So I made some for her. The girl has 4 brothers and no sisters...so I wanted something fun and girly just for her. This is what I ended up making...

I have to admit. I am pretty much in love with how these came together. I think it is the girly color combo that I love myself! :) Wisteria Wonder, Melon Mambo, Lucky Limeade. LOVE the bright colors with the bling of the Rhinestones! Anyway...I used the hostess only paper that is my FAVORITE of all time!!!! It's called Cheerful Treat I believe. And then used a retired stamp set (along with the Invitation stamp set) that I don't think I will ever get rid of! Love the bold images! Then just made a pocket card for the invite info. Here are a few close-up's...

Christmas Decor...

I have this white dish on my kitchen table that I usually have a vase of flowers in. Well...I need something Christmas-y since the rest of my house is decked out. :) But I wanted to make something, of course, since I was sure I had the supplies to do something fun. I decided to make some decorative balls in holiday colors. I did use all retired ribbon for this project...but any ribbon you have would work. Here is a picture of them...

And a closer picture...And more pics to follow. But just quickly how I did it...these are just wrapped Styrofoam balls. I cut ribbon long enough to go around the ball. And then would just pin the ribbon on one end of the ball. (The same end for all the ribbon pieces.) Once I had one ribbon down, went on to another ribbon piece. And just kept going around the ball until they were covered. I like some balls more than others. I want to try this with fabric also. I have NO idea how many ribbon pieces I used. It varied depending on the width of the ribbon. You don't want to use too thick of ribbon or it will get all weird. Anyway...here are some more pics...

A Quick and Simple Christmas Invite...

I love this time of year! Lots of fun gatherings and events are in abundance! So who doesn't need a fun Christmas invite?! Here is one idea for you that is very quick and simple, but very cute. Thanks again Mr. Big Shot! :) ...

How fun is this stocking invite?! Now...I say it's an invite. But hello! It could be so much more! Use it as Christmas decor, ornaments on the tree, a tag for a Christmas package, etc, etc. I used the Stocking die and some paper from last year. So sorry...you will have to substitute the paper if you don't have any of this fun flocked paper. (The white is all fuzzy and fun. It makes a very touchy feely element. :) ) Here is a close-up of the front focal point...I love this stamp. It's from the Perfect Punches (I think that's the name) set. So of course...I had to use my punches! :) And a sticky Rhinestone. :) Here is a side view so you can see the layers...

I just stamped the images a few times in a few different colors. (Chocolate Chip, Real Red, and Lucky Limeade. LOVING this color combo this year!!!!)

And then the simple invite part...I just stamped on the back...I used the inviting set that was just on sale during the Thanksgiving Online Extravaganza. Sorry if you didn't get that one then. I have only had it for about a week and have already used it for a few things. So it still is a great one to get...even if you didn't get it on sale. :) All I did was stamp this on the back. Then I just filled out the info and delivered. Oh...I used the retired stretch silver cording as well so they could just be hung on the front door if need be. You could use Baker's Twine or whatever if you don't have that.

Turkey Day...

We went to my parents house for Thanksgiving this year. We had a great time! But of course...I had to help with the Thanksgiving table. I made some fun name cards for the table. Can you spot Ashley the Turkey on this table?!...

A fellow demo friend of mine, Candace, showed me a larger version of this turkey a few weeks ago. She's very clever and a great designer. I fell in love and just HAD to make some for the Thanksgiving table I was going to be at. :) These were fairly quick to make using my Simply Scored board that I LOVE and my Big Shot that I LOVE as well!!!!! And it added a fun festive feel to the table. I also used my Big Shot to add another festive touch. We made a "Thankful" tree. My mom got some branches and I cut out some leaves in a variety of fall colors. We all wrote things we were thankful for on the leaves and then tied them to all the branches. My photo of this is a bit fuzzy but so you get the idea...And a close-up...

Grateful Fun...

Meant to get this posted before Thanksgiving. Don't know where time goes!!! Just wanted to share this wreath I made for the Thanksgiving season. I know it's a little late...but I am sure you could use this idea for any other season or time of year! :) So here you go...

I took a ribbon wreath and wrapped it with the fabulous 1 1/4" striped ribbon. This stuff is thick so it really doesn't take too long to wrap the wreath. Or really much ribbon. I am guessing I used about 1/2 of a roll. Maybe less. Then I made some fun paper flowers. These were made with different size circles I cut with my Big Shot. Then you spritz them with water to get them a bit damp. Take your bone folder and twist it in the center, and it will make a flower bud type thing. Make as many as you want to make a flower sized how you want. I think I did 6 for these flowers. Then make the fun center, and I hot glued it all to another circle. Then just hot glue them to the wreath. Here is a close-up...
I LOVE this Designer Series Paper so had to make a card with it as well. These wreaths would be a fun gift for anyone that you are thankful for. And you need a coordinating card...

Button, Button Fun!!!

I wanted to share a fun silver tin I made at a Convention class I went to. We used the "Button, Button" set which is one of my FAVORITE'S!!!! :) So here you go...

That band is a belly band that just slides right off so that you can open it up and use these sweet tags...Isn't this so fun?! I am not sure who designed this project for us to make but I LOVED making it!!! Hope you enjoy it too! Thanks for visiting!!!!

November Club Projects...

YIKES! Where is November going?! I have to say...it's FLYING by!!!! Yesterday was our club day. I had a blast with my gals and they seemed to enjoy the projects. :) (Which is my goal so always hoping that one happens! :) ) Here is a Christmas card we made this month. It has a fun 3D Christmas tree made with the Perfect Pennant stamp set and the Pennant Punch...
The Designer Series Paper is from the Christmas Lane Simply Scrappin' Kit. I am LOVING that paper so I had to buy some of those kits to use on some fun projects this year! And see that fun tree?! LOVE it. Here is a close-up of the tree before it was put on the card...

Love the dimension it adds. And then we also made this 3D project...

We learned how to make this box at Convention this past July. I fell in love with it and have been dying to make it ever since. :) It's made with two Milk Carton dies! SO PRECIOUS! The one they showed at convention had holes poked in the top and were tied closed with some Baker's Twine. But when I went to close mine and just pushed the top it...it stays just fine. So now it's easy to open and pop your gift in and close. Then easy for the receiver to open and close as well!!!! And the Designer Series Paper is also from the Christmas Lane Simply Scrappin' Kit. Images are from the Jolly Bingo Bits stamp set! (SO NOT JUST FOR BINGO CARDS!!!! :) LOVE those images!!!!)

And stamp club gals...I will be sending out your step-by-step directions for these projects today! So for you long distance club members that weren't there last night...now you will know how to make these projects when you receive them with your order! Halloween Fun..

A little late...I get it! But wanted to share some Halloween fun with you! I am the room mom for my daughter's Kindergarten class so I got to plan the Halloween party! We had fun! Forgot to take some pictures of some of the things...but do have pictures of part of it. Oh shoot. Just remembered I forgot to take a pic of the favor I did for the other mom helper's and the teacher. They were a decorated white craft bag...using the Frightful Sight Designer Series Paper and Batty For You stamp set. With candy bars inside. I did take a pic of the treat I made for the bus drivers. (She has two...one takes her to school and a different one brings her home.) I actually forgot to make these the night before her Halloween party...so I had to hurry and pull something together in about 5 mins before we left for the bus. So these leave a little to be desired. :) But here you go...

Using that fabulous "Batty For You" set for the tag, some ribbon, and a large cello bag...you have some festive candy! Although I have to admit it is driving me BATTY that the Starburst is upside down! :)

Next up....how about a cute drink for your kiddos for a Halloween party?! It's a drink box I just wrapped with some white electrical tape and added some googlie eyes...

I saw these online somewhere and I about died! I HAD to make them! They are TOO CUTE!!! :)

And I know it was a Kindergarten party...but I had to make some centerpieces for the tables. So this is what I did...
Some fun lollies, rosettes, whatever you want to call them!!!! Turned some into pumpkins and some into ghosts and VOILA!!! A fun centerpiece!!! :)

I made some favors for the kiddos as well. Used the WONDERFUL 1"x8" cellos from the holiday mini and made these...

There were quite a few more in the box before I gave them all out! But sorry I forgot to get a pic of them then! And of course I had to decorate the box to take them in! :) Here is a pic of just the pencils with a pair of fangs I gave them all...

And then my fave part of Halloween this year...dressing up TWO KIDDOS for the festivities!!! We had two ladybugs at our house this year!!!!! And just had to throw this last one in there. My hubby chuckles every time he sees me take a self-portrait with one of the kids. He says, "What?! Is that the only way you can get a photo with our kids?!" cause I always give him a hard time about never picking up the camera to take a picture of me WITH the kids! I am always behind the camera taking pictures of them or him with them. :) We are working on it! But for now...here is the self-portrait...

Team Meeting Swap...

A bit over a week ago we had a big team training meeting that my upline put on. It was a fabulous event and I have a few things to show you from the event this week. OF COURSE there was swapping involved. Today I am going to show you my swap. We always swap full cards (often times swaps will just be a card front but with our group we always do full cards that open) and I love that! I was in a "fall" mode so this is the card I made...

This was a quick card to make. The colors I used: Soft Suede, Pool Party, More Mustard, Very Vanilla. I just used the colors from the Spice Cake Designer Series Paper...since that is what I was using on my card. Stamped a few leaves from the Gently Falling set, scallop the card edge, and there you go. :) Here are a few close-up's of the details...

The greeting is actually stamped on the inside of the card. I cut about an inch off the front of the card, and then scalloped the edge. This let me stamp the greeting on the front. This was a fun card to make! Hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting!!!

Hairbow Frenzy...

I have been meaning to share these for awhile. A few weeks ago I was asked by someone in our church to help with an event they were doing for the women in our congregation. She wanted the women to make some Holiday Hairbow's as part of this event. OF COURSE I was willing to help! These are what I designed...
A darling rolled fabric pumpkin for Halloween, some fun fall flowers for Thanksgiving, and a glittery star for Christmas. (Now...just note that I didn't have the right fabric for the star. I was just using what I had on hand but was getting some glittery felt for the final product. :) )

Here are some close-up's...I LOVE this pumpkin. Just took a strip of some orange fabric, cut out a circle with my Big Shot and Circles # 2 die ( I used that a LOT for these projects) and started rolling and gluing. The EASIEST way to do these is cut a circle from the Sticky Pages (just basically a 12x12 sheet of Sticky Strip) with the Circles #2 die. Then mount that on a cardstock or felt piece the same circle size. Then you don't have to constantly be hot gluing the fabric down. You just stick your fabric down in the middle, roll your fabric around in a circle, and just sticking it down into the Sticky Pages as you roll. Then I just cut a strip of brown felt for the stem and tied some Old Olive ribbon in a knot and glued it down.

Here is a picture of the back so you can see how I adhered it all together and how the clip is on...

Just cut out a circle smaller than the pumpkin circle and glue it on to the clip and pumpkin.
Here is one version that I did for Fall. I just did a single leaf with my Leaves die. It was kinda small so I wanted to make a bigger one (which is why I did the 2nd one). This one will be super cute in my 7 month old's hair. (ok....well...not IN her hair...more like clipped on to one of her elastic headband things. :) ) Here is a picture of the back...
So here is the enlarged version. I cut out three of the leaves and just glued them on to a circle cut from felt and my Circles #2 die. This fabric is from the "Spice Cake" collection in the mini catalog and I LOVE LOVE this...And here is the back...

Then the star is looking a little sad...but with glitter all over the felt...MUCH better! :) I just cut out two circles from the Star die and layered them on top of each other. I forgot to get a picture of the back...but I did the same thing as the others so hopefully you can figure it out.Hope you enjoy! Gotta love the Big Shot and all it's many uses! When I cut the pieces out for all the ladies....it seriously took me like 1 hour to do enough circles/leaves/etc. for like 80 hairbow's of each design. Being able to do 8 layers at once REALLY made things go fast!!!! Thanks for visiting!

Last night was our monthly club night! So I think I better show you what we made! About half of our girls live out of town...so half of my club gals haven't even seen these yet! So the time is here! :) (And club gals...I will be sending you the instructions for these projects today!)

LOVE the Kraft Gift Boxes and the Spice Cake product line so combined those to make this...Stamped on the bottom of the box with the "Gently Falling" stamp set from the Mini. Then added some Designer Series Paper on top, a strip of the FABULOUS fabric around the box, and added a fun tag. Here are some more pics...

(The stamping is on all the sides of the box. I am LOVING these leaves!!!!)
That sentiment is from the "Petite Pairs" stamp set. I just got this one, and just LOVE all the fun and unique sentiments in it. Check this one out for sure! September Club Projects...

Well club was almost 2 weeks ago, I think it's about time I posted the projects we made! :) (I have been sick for WEEKS with this horrible cold/sore throat/body ache thing with even a little flu thrown in there!) It was all about HALLOWEEN this time!!! (I try to do any holiday the month before the actual holiday to give everyone time to prepare. :) ) Here is the card we made...

The stamp set that I used on this card is called "Spooky Bingo Bits" and I LOVE this set!!! You can use it for SO much more than just a "BINGO" game!!!! I loved using it as a focal point on this card. The phrase is from "Grateful Greetings" stamp set. This Designer Series Paper is just fabulous as well. I LOVE the color combo they put together....Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler (WHO KNEW that would be so much fun with Halloween stuff!!!), Basic Gray and Basic Black. We did lots of sponging on this card AND used the new FABULOUS "Dazzling Details" from the Holiday Mini! It's glitter and glue all in one bottle!!! SO EASY and SO NOT MESSY!!!! (As long as you give it a minute to dry! :) ) Here is a close-up of the focal point...And then for our project we HAD to use the new FABULOUS 1" x 8" Cello Bags! They already have an adhesive strip on the flap so you can close them SUPER easily!!! And then we made one of the paper rosette accordion folded things. This was a BREEZE to make with the new Simply Scored in the Holiday Mini!!! SERIOUSLY LOVE THAT THING!!!! Here is a picture of our project...
We used gumballs in their bags....for a more colorful Halloween treat. But I didn't have any when I made my sample so I just used these candies. But here is a close-up...
Same color combo as the card because we used the same Designer Series Paper. And the greeting is also from the "Grateful Greetings" stamp set!!

I LOVE the new stamp set, "Sweets for the Sweet!" That was the stamp set that was used to make this card. I made this one at convention, at a fun class I went that one of my upline's do. LOVE the pinwheels, LOVE the mini brads (an up close picture of both those things is below), and LOVE the bright colors!!! Hope you like...

Any good celebration needs a little ice cream, right?! So here is a perfect card for any celebration...
I am loving the colors that are in this Designer Series Paper, Just Add Cake. It's got some Poppy Parade, So Saffron, Wild Wasabi, Peach Parfait, etc. Just fabulous!!! And as for this ice cream cone...
Do you know where that cone is from?! Why it's from the Pennant Parade stamp set!!! I just stamped it in Early Espresso ink with Early Espresso cardstock and punched out with the coordinating pennant punch. Then the ice cream part of the cone....why that is from the Cupcake punch!!!! Gotta love versatility!!!!

August Club Projects...

Well maybe I shouldn't have announced my comeback until I was sure I would have time to post regularly. :) But how are you ever sure you will have time?! We have been busy this last bit of summer...going on vacation, getting sick, having a baby that does NOT want to put down at any part of the day, building pretend schools/stores/apartments in the basement to have some fun pretend play, soaking up the last bits of summer sun, etc, etc. Anyway...getting to the computer has not been easy. BUT ALAS...I am here to show you my August Club Projects so that is SO EXCITING, huh?!?!? :) And next week school "starts" (my daughter is starting Kindergarten and just gets tested that first week and then will start back full time the next week) so we will be getting on some sort of schedule. After I have my break down that my oldest is starting the big bad world of SCHOOL! Seriously...if ANYONE has ANY tips on how to get through this...would LOVE to know. I die a little inside each time I think about it. My heart aches a bit that she is growing up so fast. I am sure it will NOT be a pretty sight that first day of school (for the mom anyway...my daughter can't wait!!!).

But what you REALLY came for....STAMPING PROJECTS...

Here is the card we did for club...
I debated back and forth on the Creative Elements stamp set in the catty. I loved it but wasn't sure how much I would use it. Well SO GLAD that I have it!!! It is SUCH a great stamp set with SO MANY fun elements! Hope you can see them here! We did lots of distressing and sponging and just had FUN on this card!!! :)

Since it is back to school time...I thought a fun altered composition notebook would be fun. So here goes...
As you can tell...both of these projects use the FABULOUS hostess designer series paper, Cheerful Treat. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the colors of this and just can't get enough! :) Everyone had different patterns of the paper and it was fun to see all the creations. Here is a bit of a close-up of the elements we used...
And then of course we had to add a bow closure to the notebook...

FORGOT TO TELL YOU...these are the FIRST projects that I made in my NEW STAMP ROOM!!! Yes...my room is DONE! Ok...well...the parts of my room that our contractor and cabinet/countertop people were doing are done. I, however, still have some decorating and organizing to do. I know I have been a bit out of it lately and haven't been posting much. Well this is why...
If you got to cuddle with this all day...would you do anything else?! :) This is my baby Madi! She is 4 months old now and we are finally starting to settle into some kind of schedule. She sleeps about 12 hours a night (and has for at least a month or so...FABULOUS!!!) and I feel human again!!! And...MY STAMP ROOM IS ALMOST DONE!!!! We are just waiting for counter tops now and I am starting to organize. I PROMISE I will share pictures when it is all done. It's looking BEAUTIFUL!!! Anyway...my sweet Madi and my sweet Kylie (my 5 year old) have been keeping me busy. And my stamping space under construction has limited my ability to stamp. But now that we have a schedule of sorts and my room is getting back to normal...I am BACK to my regularly scheduled program. I will be posting regularly and sharing all sorts of fun stuff with you! I recently got back from convention and seriously...it was A-MA-ZING!!! Actually something I am sharing with you today is a swap I took to convention. This was a swap I made for an upline's group meeting we had at convention. We do full cards, and we have lots of great stampers in our group. Here is my card...

July Club Projects...

WOW! I can't believe it has been a month since I have posted!!! I actually have some things to show you!!! But let me just say...my crafting world is a bit crazy right now. My SWEET hubby is re-doing my craft room for me!!! Adding cabinets, more lighting, closet organizer, etc. (And let me be clear...when I say my hubby is doing it for me...I mean he is paying for it to be done for me. :) We aren't that handy around our house but we have a great contractor that is! :) hehe.) Anyway...I have had to COMPLETELY move out of my space...it's just an empty room right now!!! Crazy!!!! That means that these club projects that we did yesterday I planned weeks ago because I had to pack EVERYTHING away! Our Stampin' Up! convention is NEXT week so I had to plan all my swapping projects for that weeks ago also!!! And I am usually much more of a procrastinator than that!!! :)

Anyway...I will share pictures when everything is done. I am SO EXCITED to have it completed!!!! It's going to be FABULOUS!!! On to our club projects that we did last night...
We first made this card and I am kinda in love. There is something special about this card...I will show you in a minute. Love the color combo....Baja Breeze, Wisteria Wonder (NEW IN COLOR!!! So much has changed since I last posted!!!!), Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, and Crumb Cake. Do you notice that fun detail on the left side of the card. Here is a close-up...

It's a new border punch!!! Lace Border Punch!!! LOVE IT!!!! And then here is what is fun about the card...

The flower comes off and it's a clip that you can put in your hair, on a bag, on jewelry, whatever!!!! See....

What fun!!!! :) And to make it...all I did was use the handy dandy Big Shot to cut out a scallop strip of fabric with the Tasteful Trim die. Then just pleated it around a circle I cut out using the Circles #2 die and the Sticky Pages. Then added the felt circle and the clip to the back. Easy peasy!!! I LOVE this card and it would look so cute with any color combo. But LOVE the new flirtatious fabric!!!! Anyway...hope you enjoy!!!

Here is the other project...

Just a fun little treat bag for anyone you care about!!! I love the crumpled and crimped paper in the bag. Then fill with a fun treat, make a fun topper with the Top Note die and the NEW FABULOUS Pennant Die (makes the wonderful scallop center), and you are good to go!!! Hope you enjoy this!!!

June Club Projects...

I meant to be better about posting but seem to have not been as great as I hoped. :) I will try to be better. I had club last week and think it's about time I show you what we made! Our new round of club starts again soon...so if you are interested in knowing more or joining yourself...just let me know! You can be a long distance club member if you don't live close to me and still get all the benefits of club!!! :)

Here is the card we made...
This set is called "Always" and it is on the retired list. So if you want it...you have to get it before June 30th! And it's a GREAT set!!! I LOVE the bird in this set, the flower, the branch, love it all! So decided to use it for club before it was gone! The colors are Chocolate Chip, Rich Razzleberry (and YES! That fabulous Rich Razzleberry 3/8" Taffeta ribbon is retiring also so get it before it's gone!!!), Old Olive, Crumb Cake, and Whisper White.

This next project was super fun. I saw the idea online and it just stayed in my head. Can't remember where I found it, but I didn't think of this myself. :) Look at how much fun it is...

It's an ENVELOPE turned into an APRON that you can use as a little pocket to hold whatever you want!!! Now this stamp set....Petal Pizzazz...I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! The flowers are so much fun to layer and they are big and bold and I just LOVE LOVE them!!! (Did I mention that I LOVE this set?! :) ) SO I am super sad it's on the retiring list. This is my warning...get this one before June 30th! You will want these flowers one day and be sad it's not in the catalog anymore. :) Anyway...we made this little envelope then put some fun summer treats inside. Am thinking of making a bunch more for my daughter to hand out to her friends to say, "WELCOME SUMMER!" or something like that. You could do a birthday one with a gift card or cash in it, or for a newlywed couple and put a few recipes in it and a gift card to a grocery store to go buy them or whatever!!! Anyway...this was fun to make and I hope you enjoy!!!

Blossom Bouquet Bag...

When I saw the new Triple Layer Punches in the Mini catalog...I knew I had to have them. And they are SO much fun to work with. I just had to play with the "Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch" right away and this is the first project I made with it...
I wanted to make a project using a bunch of the flowers, all in different ways. I found this strip of Designer Series Paper laying around my stamp room. So I didn't measure it or anything, I just scored all edges at 1", cut some tabs, and folded it up to make a bag. Used some jumbo eyelets to hold my ribbon handle, added some cardstock on the inside to make it a bit more sturdy...and VOILA! The perfect canvas for some Blossom Bouquet punches. I just used the colors in the Designer Series Paper...which is from the Nursery Suite Specialty pack....and went to town. I also punched out some circle punches (1" and 3/4") and added those to the mix. The colors I used were Regal Rose, Baja Breeze, Pear Pizzazz, and Chocolate Chip. I also got some fun coordinating accessories out. Then I just went crazy layering and making some fun flowers. Adhere them to the front of the bag and there you have it! A simple project with lots of "PUNCH!" :) (Hehe...get it?!) Anyway....here is the cardstock I added to the inside...

And then look at that fun scallop detail I added to the top of the bag...

May Club 3D Project...

I haven't shared the 3D project for club this month yet. So here she is in all her glory...
How EASY is this project?! All you have to do is take a white lunch bag, cut it down to the size you want, scallop the top, and decorate! And VOILA! You have a fabulous cute gift bag!!! You could even add a handle if you wanted. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE making my own crimper paper stuffing for the inside...all coordinated with whatever other colors I am using in my project. As you can see here...

And I wanted that piece of cardstock poking out from the back so you could see that the back was decorated too....not just the front. All it has on the back is a piece of the same Designer Series Paper that is on the front mounted on cardstock. But...it just makes it more sturdy and stays open better. And then here is the flower accent up close and pretty...

I love making those flowers! Oh...and the oval that the "Imagine" stamp is on is from the Ovals Big Shot die. Oh...and I used all sorts of different Designer Series Paper for my clubbers. With different colored flowers and such. So this project is obviously so easy to switch around and use whatever YOU like!!!

May Club Card...

Last Wednesday was club day. However...this month we weren't able to meet in person. Last Wednesday was the day my Grandpa passed away. So for obvious reasons, I just couldn't make club happen that night. However...of course we still have projects for the month and here is the card they will receive with their order...

Have to admit...I am kinda in love. :) This card is a lot of fun to make. And I LOVE the flower that is on the card. Here is a close-up of the flower...

HOW CUTE!!!! :) It's made from our Satin Ribbon. You heat it up and melt it and it turns into this flower. I actually made a few of these into clips for my daughters hair. I meant to take pictures and show you. I guess another day. :) But hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting!!!

Sewing FUN!!! Pouch Style!!!

I actually do have a few things to share with you over the next little while!!!! So hopefully I can be a bit consistent with my posting now. Life has been crazy these days and I just haven't gotten into a good schedule yet. Plus, my grandpa passed away last Wednesday, and have been struggling with that. He was the most amazing and sweet man! He is missed TERRIBLY!!!!

As my mom was staying with me after I had my baby...I wanted to take advantage of her sewing skills. I am NOT a sewer but really want to be. :) I had seen these fabric pouches around and wanted her to show me how to make them. These are cut out with the Pennant Die. And then just sewn together to make a cute little pouch. I am kinda in love and have intentions of making MANY more!!! :) Here is the first one I have made all finished...

How cute is this?! So again...used the Pennant Die to cut out the main pouch. I cut out a total of 4 pennants...two in the flower and then two in a brown polka dot one because I wanted to line my pouch. Then I used the Flower Folds die (I know this is an expensive one but SO WORTH it!!! Trust me!!! :) ) to cut out some flowers from felt. Then I just sewed these on to the front of my bag and added a big button and some ribbon. Too cute!!!! :) So really...all that is involved in these is just sewing all the pennants together and then folding the top down and sewing that to make a place to put the ribbon and tie closed. (I really don't know sewing terms so hopefully this makes sense! :) ) Here is a picture of the top all cinched and tied closed...

As you can see I just added some Old Olive taffeta ribbon for the tie. Here is a close-up of my flower...

And then inside I just put a few bags of COCONUT M & M's!!! If you haven't ever tried these...YOU MUST! They are DELICIOUS!!! :) You can't always find them in stores but if you ever do...try them!!!! :)

And then here is this cute pouch opened up. You can see the lining in there. :) So they are sturdy, beautiful pouches...inside and out!!!!

Mommy Needs Some Creating Time...

It's been awhile since I have been in my stamp room and stamped "just to stamp." For no other reason than I needed to use the creative part of my brain. My days are filled with feedings, diaper changes, playing with my 4 year old, and cooing at my baby. :) Not much time for much else. Yesterday my 4 year old had a friend over and my baby was asleep so I ran to my room for 10 mins. I hurried and tried to come up with something fun. This is not my best creation at all...but I saw the ribbon that ended up on this card laying on my table and built the card around that. Here it is...
The flower pot is from the Cupcake stamp set that is in the mini catalog (that ends THIS SATURDAY...April 30th!!!!). I stamped one of the cupcake bottoms in Early Espresso ink on Early Espresso cardstock and punched it out. I used that for the flower base. Then I just punched out some flowers using the Itty Bits Punch Pack and glued them on. Added some of the tiny pearls in the centers. Now...do NOT look close at the ribbon cutout that I did. Needed to check on the girls at this point so just had to hurry up. But hopefully you can tell everything else that I did. Here are some close-up's...

Color comb is Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, Early Espresso, Old Olive, and Crumb Cake. Probably my most used color combo. :)

April Club Projects...

We had club this week!!! I haven't had any kind of social life these days, so it was fun to get together with my girls! We had a great time. They got to meet our new club addition...

...and make some fun projects! What could be better than that?!?! :) Here is the card we made... I LOVE the "Take A Spin" stamp set. I just think it's something fun and different to use. I got a card VERY similar to this at Leadership that I LOVED! (Thanks Denise! :) ) I just had to make it a bit more simple than the one she did. :) I still think it turned out to be a fun card. I love layering punched images on cards to give it some texture. On this card in the background I hope you can see the stars. Here is an up-close picture...

Color combo for this card is Poppy Parade, Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight, and Tempting Turquoise. That Designer Series Paper on the side of the card is from the hostess benefits Level 1 pack.

The second project we made was a fun 3x3 card holder. Here it is... I used the Designer Series Paper and the stamp set from the "Spring is Blossoming" promotion going on this month. (Click HERE to read about that.) Then we also used the Fabulous Phrases stamp set. Here is a top shot of the folder...

When you open it up you see this...There are four cards in the set. Each one uses one of the stamps in the "Four Frames" stamp set. Here are all the cards...We used River Rock textured cardstock as our card base and I LOVE the subtle texture that it adds. Here is an up-close picture of that...

Colors used in this project are River Rock, Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, Cherry Cobbler, and Not Quite Navy.

March Club Projects...

I am back for a minute! :) I have club tomorrow...so thought it would be about time to post the projects we made LAST month!!!! I just really have been a bad blogger these days...but I have been trying to be a good mommy. Adjusting to two kids has been...well...an adjustment! :) I don't get much done each day, other than feed the baby and in between try to give attention to the 4 year old. :) Anyway...here is the card we made last month... Accessories galore for this card! I love it! LOVE LOVE those fabric buttons. They all got to use whatever one they wanted....so not everyone had the polka dot. And I got this layout straight from Stampin' Up! It was fun to do! Here are some close-up's...

Baby Gift Fun...

Our good friends had a baby about 3 weeks before we had Madison. It's their 5th kid...4th boy...so they kinda have all the baby stuff they "needed" for him. Well...you can never have enough blankets...and I had something I wanted to try...so I went for it. But I'm first going to show you the card I made... I love the "Fox and Friends" set and I think the whale is my fave image. :) And add some layered punched images, and you have a fun focal point. The color combo is Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, Pear Pizazz, and Marina Mist. Here is a close-up...

Love that whale! :) And then finally...here is the quilt I made...

Do you not LOVE the dino fabric! LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!! And have to say...again...I do NOT sew! This was a BIG project for me to do! (And just hoping it doesn't fall apart! :) I washed it a few times before I gave it to them and it didn't so hopefully it won't! :) ) But I had this idea to make a bigger scallop with the 5" scallop square die. And it actually worked!!!!! I just folded a fabric square in half both ways, and laid it so it only cut out 2 of the scallop sides. Then unfold the scallop square and you have about a 9" square!!!!! I LOVE LOVE the versatility and how well it worked! It worked out better than I thought it would. Then I just sewed all the scallop squares together and you have this fun rag quilt! Here is a bit of a close-up...

And I realize you can't really tell the size of the squares...but again..it's about 9" square. And here it is all wrapped up ready to give to them...

Now I need to make my own to keep! It was quite fun to make! The only hard part was giving it away!!! :) But that is also the fun part as well! : )

My Best Creation of the Year BY FAR!!!!

Have you ever had one of those special times where you go to create something and EVERYTHING goes perfect. It turns out just how you pictured!? Well...that's how this creation went for me. As soon as I saw this particular creation that is JUST how I felt. I knew it was perfection and just what I was picturing. And it is BY FAR the best creation I have made this year!!!! :) So are you ever lucky you came to visit today because I will share this creation with you...

Seriously...isn't she perfect?! :) We are in love at our house and so I just wanted to share. :) She was born March 15th. Her name is Madison Ellie. She was 7 lbs. 1 oz. and 19 1/2" long. She is a day old in this picture, and just as CUTE as EVER!!! Here is another picture of her a few days later...

Can NOT stop kissing those checks. :) And I am sharing this photo because I know you come to this blog for crafty things. :) Well...I wanted to show you this AMAZING quilt I got from my fabulous friend, Kelli! She used the Scallop Square Duo die (the one with the two scallop squares...one is about 3" and not sure the other but it is smaller) and her Big Shot to make this! I can NOT believe she did this for me and am in love with this quilt. (So is Madi! :) ) Here is a pic of more of the quilt... Don't you just LOVE it?! Decorate With Stampin' Up!...

First of all...let me just say...getting a new laptop is fun...but also a bit of a pain. Re-installing all your programs, getting all your pictures back on, etc, etc. AND...the kicker...finding out the pictures and documents that you backed up on an external hard drive from your old computer didn't REALLY backup. So pause for freaking out that your pictures from the last almost 2 years were GONE!!! Oh...and being 9 months pregnant so REALLY emotional about it all anyway!!! Well...THANK HEAVENS for a FABULOUS computer guy that we know that got them all back for me!!!!

Anyway...lately I have been doing a little decorating around our house. Painted our dining room a fun green. Doing green, black, and pops of bright pink. Well...this is a horrible picture...but hung a mirror and wanted something over it. So Stampin' Up! Decor Elements to the rescue! I LOVE this image of all the different welcoming words so hung this up...

Now the lighting is HORRIBLE in this picture. I will try to take it again so you can really see the green. I think I'm going to add a pink Upsy Daisy decor element to the corner of the mirror to add some pink there also. :) But in the mirror you may see something that you would like to see a close-up of. Well...here you go....

I sometimes have a hard time finding things in stores that fit what I want for a space. So once again...Stampin' Up! supplies to the rescue!!!! These FABULOUS frames are in the Decor Elements catalog and I think they get passed over. They are a 12x12 frame, have about 1" thick sides, and then a 4x4 cut out in the middle. They come all white. I just added some Basic Black Designer Series Paper (from the Neutrals paper stack) to the frames. Then used my BIG SHOT (LOVE this thing!) and some accessories to finish decorating. I cut out some butterflies and the words from Melon Mambo textured cardstock. Well...here are pics of each of the frames separately...

The flowers are the Paper Daisies that you buy in a pack. The Designer Series Paper behind the butterflies is what is actually "framed". It's from the Hostess Paper pack that you get FREE and it's in Blushing Bride. Then I added the butterfly (with some rhinestones!!!) to the glass of the frame...

To make the butterflies I cut out two of them and curled the wings a bit with my Bone Folder. Then adhered them together so they were 3-dimensional. Added the rhinestones and then just adhered them right to the glass of the frame.

Here is the fun flower/button/taffeta ribbon combo...

And that's it. It was pretty easy and so much fun to make!!! I hope you enjoyed this project. I have to admit....I love going into my dining room and seeing them. They make me happy. :)

I need to apologize for my silence. :) My laptop died on me...something with the hard drive. There go all my pictures (luckily I had backed things up a month-ish ago so just lost the last month) and all that stuff. I just got my new laptop today and I'm super excited. So now I just need to get my programs and such back on here...take more pictures of my stampin' stuff that I need to show you...and I will be back up and running! Don't even know if anyone is around anymore...but I will be back soon! :) Oh...and yes...still pregnant...baby not here yet. If she isn't here by Tuesday though...the doc is going to help her out a bit! :) So Tuesday should be the day...if not before! :)

Christmas Project Turned Valentine's...

I know...I know. Valentine's is over. I just didn't share this before Valentine's Day...but still want to share! :) So sorry! But obviously you could still do something like this for any other event. It's all about the idea...right?! Anyway...when I saw the Christmas advent calendar in the Holiday Mini (I know...you can't order these anymore. But maybe you did and never used it and want to do something with it now. :) ) I actually immediately thought of Valentine's Day. My daughter and I like making her Valentine's for her preschool class and I thought these would be easy and perfect! So I got a kit for Valentine's Day as well as Christmas. Anyway...flash forward to February...this is what we did with the "Count Down to Christmas" boxes...

Just added a few punches to the front and then her Valentine greeting on the top. We made over 20 of these in NO TIME at all! It was fabulous!!!! Here is one all by itself...

LOVE the glitter paper! Added the perfect pop to the box! And I kept with the red and green color combo...because she has lots of boys in her class. And 4 year old boys may not care if they have pink on their Valentine's...but we still kept them gender neutral. :) Here is a close-up of the fabulous glittered heart...

And that Designer Series Paper that is punched out with the Designer Label punch is from the Hostess Paper Pack that you can earn for free!!! Then had to show you my daughter's cute writing...

LOVE IT!!!! She just makes me smile! :) We had fun doing these and I hope her class liked them! Oh...I didn't take a pic of them opened up but there was some chocolate inside.

Leadership Swap Time...

Back in January I went to Nashville, TN for Stampin' Up's Leadership Convention. It was amazing and fun and I had a great time. One of my uplines did a dinner one evening and of course we had swapping there! So this is the card I made to swap...
I love this stamp set in the Spring Mini...and knew I wanted to use it. I have also been LOVING this color combo....Poppy Parade, Chocolate Chip, Baja Breeze, So Saffron, and then Old Olive for the stem...so knew I wanted to use it. I used a So Saffron brad in the middle of the flower and then used that fabulous Poppy ribbon for my accessories. And the Designer Series Paper is from the Soft Subtles paper pack...Baja Breeze pattern. Then the rest is just stamping and punching a scallop border. So easy, quick, and fun!!

Fabric Fun Galore...

Since my stamp room is still under construction (UGH!!!! Don't even get me started!!!)...I have been spending some time sewing. (And actually having fun...although I am NOT a seamstress AT ALL and such a beginner.) For Valentine's Day...I decided to make some of these rag bags for my daughter's preschool teacher and classroom helpers. I also made one for my daughter. Here are all of the bags I made posing together...
Aren't they so much fun and cute?!?!? I almost couldn't give them away. I made them with the Scallop Square die. I also used the Flower Folds die for the flower on the bag. Here is a close-up of one of the flowers...

I sewed two pieces of ribbon together (they are both retired) to give it a sturdy handle and I love the look!!!! Here is a full shot of one of the bags...

On the inside I cut a piece of chipboard (located in the back of the catalog with the Big Shot stuff) to the size of the bottom of the bag. Then I covered with fabric and added it to the purse so it has a sturdy base. Here is a pic...

And of course you want a side view also so here you go...

Now don't lok too close at the actual sewing. Hoping these bags stay together. :) My daughter's seems to be doing just fine so far (so if it can hold up under the use of a 4 year old...I think I'm ok!). I would LOVE to hear what you think about these! :)

Valentine Treat...Or Any Day Treat

I wanted to share a bonus treat I made for my club members this month. I know...it's using a Valentine's sucker. And Valentine's was yesterday. However...you could use a tootsie pop or whatever you wanted and make these any time of year. :) Here they are...
How fun are these flowers?! :) These were really so quick and easy to put together. I used the Island Floral Bigz Die and my Big Shot. The best thing?! When you die-cut the flower and leave pieces...the hole is already in the center of them!!!! So I just had to add the sucker! Perfect! :) They were kind of difficult to get a good picture of these showing you just how cute they are so I took a few. Hopefully you can get the idea...

I used Pretty in Pink Designer Series Paper from the Subtles paper pack. Then used Real Red cardstock for the smaller flower and Old Olive cardstock for the leaves. Then used Real Red 1/8" taffeta ribbon to tie under the leaves. These really were super quick and easy to make, and I think turned out quite cute. :) I did see these somewhere on the web...that's where I got the idea. Just have no idea where right now!

Sweet Summer is needed...

Although it is sunny here in Utah today...it is quite cold. So I am desperately in the need of a little "Sweet Summer" myself! :) I made this card with some Sale-A-Bration stuff...Sweet Summer stamp set and Ice Cream Parlor Designer Series Paper...and put myself even more so in the mood for summer! :) I LOVE the color combo of this paper...Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive, Pacific Point, Melon Mambo, and Daffodil Delight. LOVE IT!!!! :) Here is the card...

Kinda fun...huh?! What is that banner? That is from the Petal Cone die. Then I used the largest Scallop punch and the 1 3/4" circle. Stamped one of the flowers a few times...cut some out and popped them up on ones I had stamped on the circle for some dimension.

Then love the whole banner look...

Februrary Club Projects...

Meant to post this earlier in the week. We had club day this week and just wanted to share the projects we made. First up is the card...Can you spot the FREE items I used on this page?!?! I used THREE!!!!! 1. So Happy For You stamp set (the phrase and the star in background) 2. Ice Cream Parlor Designer Series Paper 3. Ribbon and Button pack (obviously just the buttons on this card) HOW FUN IS THAT?!??! So many FREE things!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this time of year!!! :) Who doesn't LOVE free things?!?!? :) We also used the Cupcake set with the matching Cupcake punch. I can't get enough of this one!!!! :) Here is a close-up of that yummy cupcake...

And then I love doing ribbon like this...

Just a fun and different way than tying across the card. But this layout turned out really fun and would be so easy to change around to whatever you needed it for!!

Next up is the 3D item we made. We did Valentine's projects last month, but couldn't resist doing another "lovey" theme. But this could be used for any time of year really...

I am IN LOVE with the Petal Cone Box die in the current mini catalog. It is FABULOUS! And I saw a heart pouch made out of it when I went to Leadership Convention in January and knew I had to make one myself. So that's what we did. It's SO EASY to do and so much fun!!! And we used the FABULOUS red glimmer paper again! AHHHHH!!! Can't get enough of this stuff...

Again...had to use a FREE item!!! This time I used the AMAZING "Bliss" stamp set!!! LOVE this one! Think it is fabulous! The "spoil yourself today" phrase (LOVE LOVE LOVE it!) is from the SUPER fab "Bring On the Cake" stamp set from the Mini catalog.

Glittery Valentine Love...

Happy Valentine's Month...almost! : ) I really love Valentine's Day. The hearts, the pinks, the reds, the glitter, the love....it's just a fun holiday! Yesterday I went in my stamp room to start working on my club projects for the month.

Well...side note...my stamp room is a DISASTER these days. Not the normal disaster I make while creating...but a new kind. We have had some water leakage and...long story short cause I know you don't really care...a huge portion on the biggest wall in my stamp room is now down to studs. So EVERYTHING in my room is piled in the center of my room. Just boxes and boxes piled on top of each other. I could not work in there at all...didn't have any kind of path to even walk...until my hubby just cleared a space for me to at least move and work a bit. (Just have to dig through boxes to find anything.) Anyway...so was going to go work on my club projects (since I have club this week)...and got a bit distracted. I walked by this vase I had sitting on top of something and thought...hmmmm...I could make something fun with that. Well I LOVE when projects start out without any previous thought actually work out. :) I feel like this one did. I had NO idea what I was going to do...one thing lead to another...and here we go...

A bouquet of glittery hearts. I used that FABULOUS red glitter paper (if you haven't used this yet...you MUST! Seriously amazing stuff!!!), my Big Shot with the hearts and brackets die, and my heart punches to make the hearts. Then I attached them to strips of window sheets (both the thick and the medium weight...depending on the size of the heart), cut, crimped, and crumpled strips of cardstock...and VOILA! You have this project! :) Here is a close-up of the hearts (and I tried to get a good shot so you could see the window sheets as well since you normally don't see them well when it's just sitting there)...

And then I needed to add a bit more to it so used my Big Shot, Scallop #2 die, Hearts and Brackets die, Polka Dot embossing folder, and my Simple Alphabet letters and made this...

Again...LOVE that glitter paper! I tied it onto the Real Red striped ribbon bow tied around the vase with some Real Red 1/8" taffeta ribbon (LOVE that stuff too!!!). Oh...there is a large eyelet on the tag as well. And here is a side view so you can see the crumpled, crimped paper strips that are holding the heart strips in...

I had SO MUCH FUN making this! And now I have some more fun Valentine Decor to add to my house. (I actually have really loved making home decor lately...I NEVER seem to find things I love in stores and I am so thankful that I can just go to my stamp room and make things I love with my paper crafting supplies!!!) :) I hope you have enjoyed too! Backtracking A Bit...

I know...I know...Christmas is over. But I forgot to show you these pictures during the Christmas holiday, and you could easily switch this project around for any holiday. So I hope you can still find inspiration from this project.

I have a plate rack in my kitchen (as I am sure lots of you do) and I love decorating it for the holidays. This year I could NOT find any plates that I really loved to hang there. So I thought...WHAT AM I DOING? I will make my own! :) I did have these red plates and then I took a white square plate and did this with it...

I added some cardstock, Designer Series Paper, and a WONDERFUL Decor Element! And of course...what project would be complete without a button somewhere?! :) So added one of those also. (Can I even tell you HOW MUCH I love the JUMBO buttons that are now offered. There are NEW COLORS of them in the NEW MINI!!! :) ) Here is a close up of the button...

January Club Projects...

Bad Blogger Ashley!!!! I know....I know. What can I say? Crazy holiday, fun family time, and just lots going on. Plus....I don't think I have announced this yet. I know a lot of you probably know this already but since I haven't made a general announcement on my blog....I AM PREGNANT!!! 30 weeks along. So only 1o to go! If you don't already know that I am pregnant...my pregnancy will fly by for you. :) Anyway...that's a big reason why lately I have not been the best blogger. Just not enough "good hours" in the day for me. (I am pretty sick the whole time and such.) So sorry for my lack in posts! But this one is a good one. :) (I hope you think so anyway!!!) It's.....VALENTINE'S PROJECTS!!!! These are what we did for club this month. The card we did...
HOW MUCH FUN!!! We used the "Lots of Love" Letterpress plates and let me tell you...they are FABULOUS!!! This was the first time that I used this, and it actually debosses the love words in the background. I am in love. Here we inked up the plate with VersaMark ink and then ran it through the Big Shot with Crumb Cake cardstock. You can use any color Craft ink with them, but I LOVE the tone on tone the VersaMark gives. Here is a close-up that hopefully you can see the debossing a bit better...

You can also tell from the edge that we used the Pinking Hearts border punch...which I LOVE LOVE!!! :) And the RED GLITTER PAPER!!! Really....does it get any better?!?! Pre-glittered paper that doesn't make a big mess when you cut it or punch it. TOO much fun!!!! :)

This was such an easy project that would be great to make for anyone you need a little Valentine treat for. They go together so fast. It was a 9x4 piece of Designer Series Paper (and then I added some cardstock to the inside for a bit more stability) just scored a few places...1/2" on the 4" side and then 2, 2 1/2", 5 1/2", and 6" on the 9" side. Just cut your slits to form the box, adhere together...and you are done! So easy and so much fun!

Teacher Gift...

Well once again I am slow in posting. This holiday season has just been crazy busy. I get done what I can, but it's never enough. :) I am sure you ALL know how that goes!!!! Anyway...this is my daughter's last year of preschool. She starts KINDERGARTEN next year!!! (Yeah...really don't want to talk about that.) Anyway...in her class there she has her teacher and two helpers. So of course I had to make them each something for Christmas. First of all let me show you their gift all packaged up...
It is an assortment of some hot chocolate stuff, an ornament, a tin of tags, and a gift card for the teacher. (The helpers got everything but the gift card.) I want to show you this tin of tags cause I'm kinda in love. :) ) Here is the front of the tin...

HOW CUTE! :) I actually embossed RIGHT onto the tin! I stamped the snowflakes from "Serene Snowflake" set in VersaMark ink and embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder. So it's just a pretty shimmer on the tin. (And by the way...the tins that I used are for sale on the Clearance Rack here... http://www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/default.aspx?email=ashleyann423%40gmail.com&phone=801.404.1394 ) Here is a bit of a close-up...HOW MUCH FUN IS THAT??!!! For the ornament on the front, I also embossed it with Iridescent Ice embossing powder so it shimmered. Then I just colored in the "joy" with my Chocolate Chip marker and added a pearl for the "O". Used my Top Note die and my Big Shot to finish off the cover. Here are all three of the tins...

Then when you open it up, this is what you see...

The tags are the same as the cover, just used different papers. (They are all from the Jolly Holiday paper pack.) Here are some of the tags out....

I used the Jumbo Eyelets in the corner, with some retired Rope Twine stuff from last year. (LOVE that stuff!!!!) Each tin had 4 tags in it. I LOVE how they turned out and hope they did too!!!!

I know it's a bit late for you to use these as teacher gifts for this year. BUT....I am sure some of you still have wrapping to do (like me!!!!) and maybe it will help with your gifts. :) Thanks for visiting and I hope you enjoy!!!

December Club Projects...

I can't believe it's been so long since I've posted. Geez! Welcome to the holiday season, I guess! :) We have had some fun family events at our house lately (good things! :) ), so it's been hectic. A good hectic though. :)

Today I am FINALLY showing you my December club projects! First up is the card we made...

I used the set, "A Cute Christmas" and then Candy Cane Designer Series Paper. (Unfortunately this is all sold out now, but there are other fun holiday papers available!!! :) ) Those fun Big Designer Buttons are awesome also! Ok...then if you look real close at the ornaments...you will see a fun surprise. I used the Smooch Pearlized Accent Ink, the Illuminate Top Coat. You just paint it on a bit like nail polish and it gives a fun shimmer. Here is a close-up and hopefully you can see it better...

I painted it on white parts of the ornament and then also over some of the parts of the ornament that I colored. The colors of this card are Baja Breeze, Real Red, Garden Green, and Blushing Bride.

We also made a fun candy holder. Here it is...
And then when you pull the bow (no need to untie it, just pull it out), out pops the candy (sorry for the different photo background. I forgot to originally take a pic of this opened and went back to do it real quick.) ...

Super fun, huh?! We used that fun Christmas roller (can NOT remember the name for the life of me right now) and the Contempo Christmas stamp set. The colors for this are Real Red, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, and Crumb Cake.

Club Gals Thank You Gift...

I forgot to show you this project that I made last month. We started club rounds again this month, and I wanted to have a "thank you for joining me" gift for my gals. Well...when we started selling clear mount stamps awhile ago, I was SO EXCITED that we sold the clear cases in a bundle! (Just $4.95 for 4 of the cases!!!) I knew I wanted to make something fun with them. Took me awhile to finally implement that idea in my head, but I'm glad I waited so I had something special for my clubbers! :) Here is what I made them...
Used some fun Designer Series Paper (Both Play Date paper and Greenhouse Gala patterns were used. I should have taken a picture of all of them since there were lots of different ones. But I forgot to do that until after I had handed most of them out. Sorry!!!) for the insert. Then made a fun flower accent for the cover. Here is a close-up...

Did some embossing with the polka dot folder, some sponging, used some more Designer Series Paper, the Island Floral Big Shot die, the Fancy Flower punch, and a fun jumbo brad.

Here is the case opened up...

Used one of our cello bags with some Designer Series Paper inside to make the pocket. Then added a notepad and pen on the right side. Now they can make lists of all the fun Stampin' Up! products they want to buy! :) Here is the little pocket opened up...

A Christmas Class Is Coming...

A Christmas Class is coming! What kind of Christmas class do YOU want? Do you want to make gifts (either for yourself! :) or a loved one) OR do you want to make Christmas cards?! Well...in this class...YOU can pick!!!! There is an option in this class to make either some home decor items or Christmas cards. Whatever you choose! And if you can't decide or need both...well that is not a problem!!! Just choose to do both!!! :)

YOU WILL RECEIVE: The Decor Bundle includes the blocks and all supplies to decorate all four sides and the top of each of the blocks. It also includes the frame and all the pieces to decorate the framed art as shown in picture. The Card Bundle includes all the supplies to make the 20 cards (4 designs, 5 cards of each design) and all the envelopes. If you choose BOTH bundles...you get ALL of it! :)

PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN ADHESIVE OR YOU CAN PURCHASE AT CLASS FOR A FEE. (The Decor Bundle will need regular SNAIL adhesive and also a liquid adhesive...I recommend the "green" Tombow Multi-Purpose glue.)

CLASS ON THE GO KIT: If you are not able to attend the above listed time of this class or if you live too far away to attend, but still want to create either or both of these bundles...there is an option for you. You may purchase it as a "Class on the Go" kit. It will come with all supplies needed to complete all of the projects. (Except adhesive.) A Little Snow...

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! I hope you all had a fabulous holiday! We have had a great one. We came to my parents house in Colorado and had to go through some snow along the way to get here. So thought this card was appropriate to show you...
I love this snowglobe stamp (it's one of the ones sold in the ala cart section) and as soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to make a shaker card with it. You may not be able to tell, so here is another shot...

There is some fun chunky glitter in the Treat Cup and when you shake the card, the "snow" flutters about. :) It's quite fun. Other than that...it's a pretty simple card. Some embossing, some sponging with Whisper White craft ink, some stamping, some punching, some ribbon, some rhinestone brads, and there you go. :) Here is another close-up...

Top Note Layout Revisited...

I told you that I made some more cards that were practically the same as the one I showed you yesterday. Well here they are...

This one just has a different stamped image and is landscape instead of portrait. But using the same stamp set. I LOVE this one! :) And that fabric again....WONDERFUL!! And right now it's HALF OFF!!!!! Can you get ANY better than that??!?! And those BIG BUTTONS. Just too much fun. :) Here is a close up...

I just tied it onto the fabric with some Linen Thread. Oh...and that cute family on the card is embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder so they are all sparkly! Here is a close-up of them...

The colors are just taken from the color of the fabric....Garden Green, Real Red, Baja Breeze, and then there is some Chocolate Chip in the mix. :) Here is another card that is once again in portrait...

Again...the same layout as the others. With the same fabric and big buttons...

I also spritzed some Shimmer Spray. And made those same sparkly people...

Both of these cards use the same embossing folder for the background as yesterdays card, Petals-A-Plenty. Let me know if you have any other questions.

A Little Holiday Joy...

I know it's the week of Thanksgiving so should be showing those types of projects. :) However...we have to get ready for Christmas also, right?! So here is a pretty quick Christmas card you could mass produce...
The day that I made this card I made a few others with the same layout. I will show you those next time. :) But I think it's a fun layout that you could easily switch around. Anyway...this one I just did an embossed background with the Big Shot and the Petals-A-Plenty embossing folder. Cut out a Top Note with my handy Big Shot and added the stamped images. The images are all from the "Welcome Christmas" stamp set. (I LOVE this stamp set!!!) The "joy" letters are embossed with Craft Chocolate Chip ink and clear embossing powder.

I also added a strip of the FABULOUS Candy Cane fabric. I just ripped about a 3/4" strip (and it was SO EASY to rip...went totally straight and I was a bit worried about that. :) ) and tied it around the card. Then I added a fun Candy Cane big button! Seriously...so much fun. I also spritzed the whole card with some shimmer spray I made with the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint and rubbing alcohol...

This card was a lot of fun to make. Give it a try yourself! :)

Christams Club Project...

Here is the 3D project we made for club last week...
It's a fun little decorated tin. I LOVE this "Cute Christmas" stamp set. So fun and whimsical! Here is a sideview...

Want to know how I added that ribbon handle? I just punched two holes using the FABULOUS Crop-A-Dile. It punched through the tin like BUTTER! It's wonderful! For the inside of the tin we used the "Tags Til Christmas" stamp set to make some tags...

Then on the bottom we put a place to write a note to the lucky recipient! You could always glue dot a gift card and use it as a gift card holder too if you wanted!

Christmas Club Card...

This was the card for club that we made last week. I think it is SO MUCH FUN!!! I saw a similar card online somewhere while I was surfing the net...and it must have stuck in my head. When I went to my stamp room to create a card...this is what came out...

It's just about the same as the one I saw...from what I remember. Sorry I don't have a name of who's card it was! But it was a super fun card to make and I LOVE this Northern Flurry Embossing folder! LOVE LOVE it! We just ran the Crumb Cake cardstock through the Big Shot and then we sponged some Whisper White ink over the snowflakes to make them pop. Then I spritzed the whole card with Shimmer Spray made with Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint. Hopefully you can see the sparkle!

The color combo is Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Real Red (ornament), and Old Olive (ribbon). Oh..and to do the ribbon like that I just put down a strip of Sticky Strip and then just pleated the ribbon onto the sticky. If you want to secure the pleats down a bit..just put some SNAIL behind the pleats after you are done.

More Fall Decor...

I forgot to share this with you last week. This was another piece of fall decor I made last week for my house. It's using retired Designer Series Paper...I think it's called Haiku?! Anyway...it was what I had around so decided to use it. And I'm really happy with how this all turned out. Here it is...
I found this frame in my "alterables" stash in my stamp room. However...the mat that came with the frame was a cream color and I wanted something that "popped" a bit more. Well...Craft Ink and Clear Embossing Powder to the rescue!!!! I wasn't sure if it would work, but it did PERFECTLY! I used Old Olive Craft Ink and just smooshed it all around to give the mat a good coat. Then I'm sure I could of just let it dry or something...but I was in a hurry. So I put some clear embossing powder on it and just embossed it. It looks amazing! I used a Decor Element I had (can't remember the name of it but it has 4 different words with it) in my stash (it is still in the current Decor Element catalog if you want it!). Then I made some more leaves using the Big Shot, Leaves #2 die, and the Spider Web embossing folder. I added some Pumpkin Pie striped ribbon on the top and just Glue Dotted it on. Here are a few close-up shots...

And then here it is up on my fireplace mantle...

(It's a bit blurry...sorry!) Anyway...I have a few more things I want to make but I've been having fun making some decor for my home using my stampin' stuff. Then I can make it just how I want it! :) Hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting!!!

I LOVE Decor Elements!!!

Today I FINALLY took down my Halloween decor (I know...a little late!) and got ready to put up some Thanksgiving/Fall-ish decor. Well....I realized quickly that I was lacking in this decor area. So what to do?! It's snowing outside so NOT heading to a store! Instead...down to my stamp room. I found a "Season of Thanks" Decor Element laying around. This is what it looks like...PERFECT! Then I found an 8x10 canvas I thought would be good for the space I needed something. Well...the Decor Element was a bit too big...so what to do?! Well....I just cut off the bottom saying and just used the top two. So now I have a "Season of Love" saying to make something else with. (Thinking Valentine's Day! :) ) Then I added some Autumn Spice Designer Series Paper (LOVE this stuff...and love the texture it gives!!!), some die-cut leaves (thanks Big Shot!), some Early Espresso 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon and cardstock, and some 1/8" Very Vanilla ribbon. This is what I came up with...

How much fun! I LOVE being able to make one of a kind decor for my home! My stamping supplies come in handy all over the place! :) Now here is an close-up look at the leaves...

When I die-cut the leaves, they don't have those veins in it. It just cuts out the shape of the leaf. So how did I do those lines? Can you tell?!?! Why...it's the SPIDER WEB embossing folder! I saw it laying there and thought...those could look like veins on a leaf. So that's what I used. Here is the other leaf bunch...

And here is a side view so you can see that I added the ribbon around all of the sides of the canvas to add some color and make things "pop" a bit more...

Here is another card with the "Filled With Love" set. And although it has a Valentine's greeting...you could still use this year round! Anytime you need to shower someone with a little love. :)
I actually stamped the heart flower twice. Once on the Whisper White piece on the card and then another on a scrap Whisper White piece. Then I just cut out the hearts (you can even punch them out with the small heart punch!) and popped them up on dimensionals on the card to make them pop a bit. Loving this color combo too! It's Regal Rose, Pear Pizzazz, and Soft Suede. Pretty fun.
